As part of a series of explorations on the subject of “simplification” leading up to my SVA thesis project, I kept a blog at www.pleasesimplify.com (R.I.P.) and made daily posts with vowelless logos. There are different ways to see this, but it was generally received as a riff on SMS language and its imminent destruction of our culture.







In addition to the logos, I investigated just how much one could
shorten a feature-length film with simple cuts and allow the story to come across.
